My friend Brian Franke played at Parkside Lounge in Manhattan last week and I got to tag along as his photographer. It was his first time playing in New York City, so there was even more reason to photograph the performance.
We arrived early, hung out and had some beers. Getting there a few hours before the start allowed me to see where I could set up my tripod. Fortunately, I was able to set up my tripod without getting in anyone’s way. I kept the tripod slightly off to the right, close to the stage for most of the performance. I was pleased with the shots I got.
Here’s the rest of the photos I took of Brian’s performance on Flickr.
